Here we have a 5" gauge LBSCR Terrier tank. Made to Martin Evans 'Boxhill' design. Although this is a cosmetically slightly tired loco, mechanically everything is still nice and tight, so she's still got plenty of life in her! Lubrication is mechanical and on the footplate so it's easy to get at without ruining the lines of the running boards. There is an injector fitted, as well as a crosshead pump between the frames and of course the hand pump inside the side tank. The little oil pots on the front of the tank are plumbed through to the axle boxes and eccentrics as well, so there has been good thought put into setting the loco up to run properly.
The boiler is silver soldered copper and as with all our running models, it can come with a fresh 4 year hydraulic test and a fresh annual steam test.
